The Team

Debby Rowland
Debby Rowland
When Deb isn’t in the Studio, she is doing one of many things that she loves. Competing in the sport of Team Cattle Penning, riding in the mountains that are at her back door, or just spending time with good friends and family!

Deb loves the little acreage that she and Butch live on. She has a menagerie of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, chickens and all the transient wild life that wanders across this shared piece of paradise.
She loves sleeping in their teepee and waking up to big blue Alberta skies and all the adventures that will be put in motion.

Deb’s artistic inspirations come from friends, family and the beautiful country in which she lives!

Butch MacPherson
Butch MacPherson
Butch has always enjoyed working with wood. From designing and building cedar and copper gates to turning wood into beautiful things, he has always taken pride in his work. His unique eye and ability to coax the maximum beauty out of a piece of wood is truly a gift and can be seen in all of his work.

His creative process has taken a new twist and his skill in wood working can be put to good use in the hand crafted knives that have now become part of his roster. The same beauty he coaxes from wood is also coaxed from stone. His eye for detail can be seen no matter what collection he turns his attention.

His passion for the outdoors is a driving force in the way he approaches and lives his life. Through his activities, including, climbing, hiking, canoeing and Team Cattle Penning, he appreciates the use of natural materials and their lasting beauty.

Jeff Maciejko

Jeff is in love with music, freshly ground coffee, the sound of rain on his tent, sunrise on the prairies, sunset on the ocean, wandering through farmers markets, small unexpected details, long cycling trips, cinnamon toast, real conversations, peas and strawberries from the garden, and, always, his amazing family.

Our Process

We are constantly pushing our creative edge, and we often phone each other excited about a new process, a new idea, a new piece. This work is a chance for us to explore the relationship between traditional craftsmanship and modern technology and techniques. Each piece is crafted by hand as much as possible, and we continue to explore ways to bring each part of the chain closer to home.
